More Guns Equals More Security

That's clearly the only solution. The guns are going nowhere. That CANNOT be a solution to the problem.

So we need to have security in baggage areas now. Perhaps a few swat guys with machine guns in every one.

I'm surprised nobody has done this until now. Rather easy, wasn't it?

Maybe a better solution would be to allow passengers to carry guns. Then, when that guy today at FLL started shooting, he'd have been surrounded by armed citizens.

The underlying problem is twofold: too many guns in the first place, and far too many people who think that the solution to their problem, whatever it may be, is to shoot someone. Or many someones.

Hypothetically all guns could be taken away. Hypothetically. In reality, it's the second problem, too many people who think shooting someone solves a problem. Our culture, especially our movies and TV shows do exactly that all the time. We live in an age of violence, where violent solutions are approved of. There needs to be a fundamental change in our culture, and I don't see that happening any time soon.

Tell gunners their perverted, unnecessary little hobby has resulted in thousands of deaths, debilitating injuries, intimidation, armed militia groups, unnecessary police responses to armed citizenry, etc. It's time to take action just like we did with polluters, the KKK, and lots of others who have made America a worse place to live.
