1). Putin ordered an "influence campaign"

2). Goals were to "undermine public faith in the U.S. Democratic process, denigrate Clinton, and harm her electability and potential Presidency"

3). Russian government developed a "clear preference" for Trump

4). Putin and Russian government helped Trump's election chances by "discrediting Clinton and publicly contrasting her unfavorably to him"

The information about RT acting to influence the campaign for Trump and against Hillary seems well sources, but it doesn't seem to be a lot different than, for example, the Guardian supporting Clinton and the Daily Mail supporting Trump. It's all foreign propaganda.

There is really no new evidence supplied regarding the hacking of Podesta's emails or the DNC's servers. There is a lot of "we assess", but that is meaningless.

...in the summation section from which I quoted, it says basically "We came to these conclusions via facts that we are not going to share completely in this document."

So thank you for posting what you did. Like I said...people need to read the document. It is big. Nothing may get done about it in an era of "President Trump" and a GOP majority, but it's still big.

We assess Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the US
presidential election. Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the US democratic process,
denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency. We further assess
Putin and the Russian Government developed a clear preference for President-elect Trump. We
have high confidence in these judgments.

 We also assess Putin and the Russian Government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s
election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her
unfavorably to him. All three agencies agree with this judgment. CIA and FBI have high confidence
in this judgment; NSA has moderate confidence.

 Moscow’s approach evolved over the course of the campaign based on Russia’s understanding of the electoral prospects of the two main candidates. When it appeared to Moscow that Secretary Clinton was likely to win the election, the Russian influence campaign began to focus more on undermining her future presidency

We did not make an assessment of the impact that the Russian activities had on the outcome of the 2016 election. The US Intelligence Community is charged with monitoring and assessing the intentions, capabilities, and actions of the foreign actors; it does not analyze US political process or US public opinion.

Meaning, contrary to what dRumpf and Fox Entertainment are broadcasting to the general public 24/7 with as much fire as they can put into it, the assessment DOES NOT analyze the impact of the report's assessment. So, dRumpf and Fox Entertainment can go fuck themselves with their fake news reporting.

I also wanted to point out in bold that "We also assess Putin and the Russian Government aspired to help President-elect Trump’s election chances when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton and publicly contrasting her
unfavorably to him. All three agencies agree with this judgment.
"

by proxy. Here's a clip.

Moscow’s influence campaing follwed a Russian messaging strategy that blends covert intelligence operations–such as cyber activity—with overt efforts by Russian Government agencies, state-funded media, third-party intermediaries, and paid social media users or “trolls” Russia, like its Soviet predecessor, has a history of conducting covert influence campaigns focused on US presidential elections that have used intelligence officers and agents and press placements to DISPARAGE CANDIDATES PERCEIVED AS HOSTILE TO THE KREMLIN.

Destroy your adversary from within. Promote the weakest candidate (tRump), disparge the stronger candidate (HRC) and sow the seeds of their democratic downfall.

We were right! Election stolen by proxy. Americans were hoodwinked to select the worst possible candidate for themselves and the best possible candidate to suit Russia.
