I have to believe there is some buyer's remorse among Drumpf voters.

To paraphrase John Stuart Mill although it is not true that all Deplorables are stupid people, it is true that most stupid people are Deplorables.

We don't need to peel off a lot of them to be successful. We don't even need to peel off a significant amount of them to be successful. We just need to peel off a handful of them.

I have to believe there are a handful of them who are already put off by him bragging he is going to pal around with the culture snobs at Conde Nast, his romance with Putin, and his taking shots at Arnold for his failing Apprentice ratings. And that's just twenty four hours of tweets:

Looking to blame someone, trump should look in the mirror. He hired Arnold.

That show's been tanking for quite a while now. The novelty of it has worn off.

People have been there, done that with that show.

And orange one, don't ya kinda have more important things to worry about — like the fu_king presidency for God's sake?

Those who support him do not see the stuff we see. As far as they are concerned, he is draining the swamp and making stuff happen. It will take a while for the impact to sink in.

I think many of the deplorables - and in my opinion, they're ALL deplorables - have actually doubled down with trump.
True patriots of this country have to hold these people accountable for voting for a racist lunatic. There's really no playing nice anymore.
I heard an acquaintance say just the other day that she - she! - was happy that at least a "politician didn't get in".
I told her I'm not enamored with doctors but if my wife can't cure me, I choose a doctor over someone playing one.
Thing is, trump is as much the epitome of the crooked politician as anyone we've seen: quid pro quo, patronage, severe conflicts of interest - that's all present and he hasn't even been sworn in yet!
These people who have infested our country with their ignorance, racism, and stupidity will never admit they are wrong - they can't tell the difference.

he is not going to like that.

As far as his followers who are not salad-tossing worshippers, they will experience fatigue with his buffoonery. Some have to be a bit chagrined with all his stupid tweets
