Democrats should introduce legislation requiring transparency in foreign investments

Our nation has been put into a untenable situation because of the failure of our House and Senate to protect our sacred institutions.

Democrats should present this legislation as soon as possible. The American people have a right to know how much their elected representatives are financially connected to foreign governments. It is a matter of national security and it should be passed immediately.

It is not a partisan issue. It is an American issue. This should be passed before Donald Trumo is sworn into the Presidency. We have a right and a responsibility to know how much Donald Trump and his nominees are tied to foreign governments. Our legislature should put America first.
