All the confirmation hearings are scheduled simultaneously.

Rachel reporting that republicans have scheduled all the major confirmation hearings at the same time and have also at that same time have scheduled a Trump press conference. That way no one sees the hearings.

Right out of the dirty trick handbook.

Republicans do not believe in democracy.

The registered voters didn't have the correct ID to satisfy the elections people, or had had their voting place eliminated, or were sent to the wrong place, or had Sunday voting eliminated, or had their hours cut back, etc.

i have been trying to put my finger on a stat that would indicate just how many people were disenfranchised by voter id and other bs. tho the number and info on provisional ballots should be scrutinized, this number right here is just what you say- people who knew their votes would be counted for barack obama, but knew it was a waste of time this time.

maybe there is a grain in there of the amount of grit people ought to have in these insane times. but that aint the rules of the game.
a majority is not how many you get minus how many they crush. that aint the way it is supposed to work.

that efforts were going on in their states to make it harder to vote. People who had been voting 50 or 60 years were suddenly being told they didn't have the proper ID. Should we be blaming THEM or the people who deliberately set about suppressing their votes?

13. Didn't you read the stories about elderly, low-income, and minority people who made it to the polls

and were turned away? The same ID they had always used was suddenly not acceptable anymore.

Millions of other people found out that their registrations had been CANCELLED because their names resembled someone in another state. (This affects minority people more because they are more likely to have common names.) Do you check to see if you're still registered before every election? Most people don't -- and shouldn't have to.

WE, as a party, need to organize an effort to find out which of our voters lacks the proper ID, and we have to raise whatever funds are needed to help them get it -- provide transportation to get it, etc.

In other words, this should be part of GOTV, and GOTV should start now for 2018.
