You know that sick feeling you have had every morning since the "election?" I have a name for it.

Let's call it the DTs. It won't kill delirium tremens to have its acronym stolen. It seems to fit the reaction of the sane and informed to the farce of the 2016, Russian sponsored, FBI enabled, media entertainment that was the so-called American "election."

Come January 20th at noon this country has no legitimate government. People will figure this out, hopefully before Orange Julius Caesar nukes somebody.

I still involuntarily shutter when my mind remembers what has happened to us. It is a jolt-shock. Yes! DT! That's it!

We don't have a legitimate government that was voted democratically into leadership. No, we don't. The voting corruption is pervasive and that alone would have created this debacle, but we have a long list of other sources to this catastrophe as well.

You're sure right about the uneasy feeling. My homeostasis has been off since election night. It is both a physical and mental imbalance. Nothing I read, watch, or do makes it better. Like waking up everyday with one leg shorter than the other but not being able to adjust; like driving in fog with no hope of clearing ahead.

symptoms include but not limited to: waves of nausea, intermittent insomnia, and a sense of impending doom. May be accompanied by a strong belief that one has been abducted by aliens and placed in an alternate reality. Behaviors may include obsessive checking of news sources for some indication that the entire country has not lost it's effing mind.

i'd actually change the name a little to "trumpitis" , as in unpleasant medical conditions that end in "itis" such as encephaliitis, colitis, gastroenteritis, hepatitis

Trumpitis it is. I have a friend who is a therapist and people have sought help to cope with this crap. Between fractured relationships and fear about medical care, some folks really are having a difficult time.

As bad as it seems right now, cooler heads will prevail. Not necessarily because it's the right thing to do but because they want to get reelected. Hey, we had prohibition right? That didn't stop people from drinking. They can pass all the laws they want but people are going to do what they want. And.... never forget... there are way, way more warm, caring people than there are hate filled assholes.

It's how I feel 24/7. Am I in the Twilight Zone? I used to be a happy, friendly, outgoing person. Now I hardly look people in the eye when I have to go out. 70% of the people here in SW PA voted for this nightmare. I can't stand to breathe they same air as them. My life has been stolen. Fuck anyone who voted for him

I don't think any prez-elect has managed to fuck things up as bad as trump, not even close. In this morning's Salon.com, there are articles on: trump's detachment from the Russia problem, trump's grudge with John Kasich, the appointment of law-breaker Pam Bondi to some position, trump's grudge with Schwarzenegger, the fucked-up status of the electoral college, the lies about "The Wall," trump's war on the intelligence establishment, and plans for rushing through approvals for trump's appointments.

And all that, before the shithead is even inaugurated. We are in a world of hurt, folks. We need a revived, angry and effective party, fighting all these outrages and those to come. In the absence of such party action, we need to plan on taking matters into our own hands. That's how serious it is, at this point.
