Obviously, we are all horrified about what was done to that kid and about what his family is going through.

But it truly looked as though the police commissioner and the others at that press briefing were traumatized and on the verge of tears from what they had seen. For tough big-city cops to be in that state says a lot.

I would like to buy them all donuts today and offer them a shoulder to cry on.
