I am so disappointed that Sly Stallone is attending Drumpf's New Year Eve party.

I know he is a nominal Republican but his iconic Rocky character would hate a guy like Trump. I used to joke that Rocky would make a great friend. He was totally absent of guile. Although he was a simple man there was not a trace of racism or bigotry in him.

I have a hard time separating people's politics from their art...

Disappointing...

I can be totally inconsistent about it.

A perfect example is Valery Gergiev.

A character based on King was Rocky's foil in Rocky V which by the way was the worst of the series, by far.

I read somewhere that Stallone doesn't want people like his maid looking him directly in the eyes. He's every bit as full of himself as Trump.
