17 Intelligence agencies say the Russians were involved in election hacking and M$Greedia calls it 'alleged hacking'. What am I missing here?
They're also questioning the timing -well Obama and Hillary exposed this during the campaign.
I am sick of the corporate agenda. They are all fascists.

(1,074 posts)They're questioning the timing??!! Could you even imagine the uproar from tRUMP and his surrogates if Obama had said the CIA made a direct link between the Kremlin and the election-swaying just BEFORE the election??!!!

(70,507 posts)It was built by Enron, the cattle were rentals, it was a former pig farm,
it wasn't finished until after w was put into power by the SCOTUS, w
couldn't ride a horse and was afraid of them, and the whole thing was
a fake prop to show w's farm country roots. And yet our "liberal media"
went ahead and reported from and about w's ranch even though the
entire thing was phony.

Yep I read here on DU about the fake ranch - just like the fake WMDs.

(269,004 posts)Thanks for that perspective - I was thinking that this is not a court case
They never used alleged for 'crooked Hillary'. That was accepted and promoted as gospel

(17,195 posts)... they have to be careful. The people they have on to comment, though, can say whatever they like, as can other pundits making noise on their blogs. This is one reason why media corporations are always careful to issue a disclaimer before an opinion show (or even on a DVD of a TV show!) declaring that the views expressed in an interview are not reflective of those of the corporation, producers, etc. It's legal CYA. Individuals can be less careful about it, because they're less likely to be hit with a lawsuit.
That last may be inoperative, though, once Mr Trump gets up to speed. He loves him some lawsuits. All the people throwing "treason" around (which is actionable at law) may find themselves in for some unpleasant moments.
