the heart attack. Then to lose her daughter! I was worried about Debbie at her age and suffering the terrible loss of a child -- this is so sad.

My husband had a heart attack when my son died. He never even told me for 9 years.
Severe greaf is really hard on ones health. Stress can be deadly.

He probably knew you might have one as well if you knew - that was a lot of stress to handle on his own. Parents don't expect to bury their children.

and I'm sure she didn't want to make it - has this ever happened before - daughter and mother stars die within days of each other.

Her semi-autobiographical book, "Postcards from the Edge" was, in part, about a mother who constantly tried to upstage her daughter.

That said, I hope she makes a full recovery.

In it she was talking about how frail her mother has been over the past year or so - and that it was surprising that she came completely back from the last health issue.
