is it the lawbreakers? Or is it the sensationalistic media?

Yesterday on ABC news I saw two stories that had people on tape causing havoc.

A "smash and grab" robbery of a fur store, and the fights in shopping malls.

Is it the perps?

Or is it our news media, going all sensationalistic on us yet again?
