The US made the right decision in regards to Israel.

We cannot permit any country, not even an ally like Israel, to dictate how we handle foreign policy issues. We must maintain our sovereignty in such situations.

Israel now has 550,000 citizens living on the Palestinian land. And they are building more and more homes every day. Can we promise them that we can protect them from attacks if they happen?

This was all done in violation of UN rules. How far should the US go in protecting Israel's trespassing on Palestinian lands?

If there is no "good faith" in America's efforts, then that cannot be good for Israel, in my opinion.

What becomes clearer is the spectacle of Netanyahu blaming the US and calling for punishing all the countries that voted for it. Further he is alleging that the US pushed it and lobbied for it -- both of which would have been as much our right to do as his frantic calls laden with threats or promises to get other states to vote no.

Netanyahu, in his fury, reminds me of a maltese we had years ago. Punky, a 7 pound Maltese, would bark ferciously at other dogs - including very big ones. Our vet explained that because he was so often held by us, he thought he was bigger than the dogs he was looking down on. Netanyahu, standing on the US support Israel always had, absolutely sees Israel as a very big country.
