That Mr. Putin's Red Pet is upset and tweeting is insufficient to make a story LBN anymore.

On Twitter, Trump defends foundation, ignores legal controversy surrounding it

President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday night to defend the charitable foundation he has pledged to close, saying the media had not given him enough credit for his generosity and ignoring the legal issues that ensnared the organization in controversy.

{Donald Trump plans to shut down his charitable foundation, which has been under scrutiny for months}

The Donald J. Trump Foundation has come under intense scrutiny this year after reports in The Washington Post detailing its practices, including cases in which Trump apparently used the charity’s money to settle lawsuits involving his for-profit businesses.

New York’s attorney general is investigating the charity, and a spokeswoman for that office said on Saturday that the foundation could not officially shut down until that probe is over. Among the issues at hand is whether Trump violated a “self-dealing” provision that says nonprofit leaders cannot use their charity’s funds to help themselves, their relatives or their businesses.

gave away very little, received even less from him, and was basically a laundering operation and tax shelter.

Rather than him closing it down, have it shut down and whatever assets it has distributed. And how does having POTUS tweet from jail for fraud sound?

This guy is incapable of opening his tiny mouth or moving his tiny twitter fingers without lying. Lying is as basic to Trump as taking a loose shit after eating in one of his restaurants.

Why is he allowed to hide from questions?

He needs to go unreported until such time as he could properly address his various predicaments.

He is being purposely kept from view (and by view I mean any situation that would involve serious scrutiny), I believe.

So, media, do we just hafta watch while Dr. Strangelove slides backward into the most powerful position on earth? Make home answer for his actions!

Most people who have foundations know where to draw the line. They throw parties and mingle with the famous, cozy up to influential people, curry favor, etc. It's mildly sleazy, but not like outright bribery or quid pro quo. With Trump, there is no line, as you would expect. He just wades right in and does what he pleases.
