and bringing it out every year as a reminder of better times.
I wonder if I could get it laminated.
I am pretty sure I will not get one next year and if I do.....it will go into the shredder or fireplace.

(12,633 posts)with a peel-and-stick kit from Staples or, I'm sure, Amazon. Heat not necessary. Items I laminated with this type of kit still look good after many years.

(182,830 posts)Not that I was ashamed in any way but since Sept I've been wearing it to the gym and weekend morning runs pre-shower.
It's one of the best caps I've ever owned. Really high quality (as should be expected) and fitted.

(34,136 posts)You can get archival quality protective sheets at office supply stores. If the unfolded card is more than 8.5" x 11" look for scrapbook pages - 12" x 12" are the largest they make those - or newspaper size - generally 11" x 17".
A good way to keep them flat is to put in a piece of acid free mat board - often you can get scraps free from framing shops since the usually throw away the middles that they cut out to show the pictures. Cut the mat board just big enough to fit into the protective page and then slip in your card.
