Bernie might have been right about a revolution, but it could come from Trump over-reaching

and same people within the government refusing to follow his orders.

A moment that will stick with me for the rest of my life was during the collapse of the Soviet Union during the hardline communist coup. Protesters surrounded the parliament building, and the coup government called out the troops. When the tanks arrived, they joined the protesters, and that was the end of the coup.

If Trump and inbred, entitled, trust fund babies he is turning out to actually represent vastly over-reach, the same could happen to them.

We barely even whimpered when they stole a USSC judge. We barely even made a peep about serious questions regarding our elections. These things should have us up in arms. But we don't. We just say "they don't play fair" and we move on.

We play by the rules even when the rules no longer are effective. Even when faced with the end of our democracy. Even when our safety is being threatened. I am guilty of it. A true keyboard activist. The mall should be packed with people screaming mad. Indeed we should be surrounding the capitol. But we don't do that anymore.

The Madison case went most tragically wrong along the lines you mentioned--the Democratic Party convinced protesters to rechannel their energy into a recall.

And then the Democrats ran the same milktoast candidate who lost to Walker the first time.

The protestors should have stayed in Madison until the governor resigned.

They had the cops and public workers behind them. They just didn't realize the historical moment they had.

Neither did Obama.

One story that will always haunt me about Obama was shortly after he was elected, a sheriff said he was no longer going to execute evictions until he saw what Obama was going to do about the fraud and abuse that lead to the crash and was behind these evictions.

And then Obama did as little as possible.

and those in the middle would just have the crap from the right to listen to.

Don't expect much more at home than we've got now and more war abroad wasn't exactly an exciting message for the Democratic base or swing voters.

And some voters can remember that when DLCers say they can reach across the aisle and get things done, it usually means bipartisanly passing GOP policies.
