Any chance Departments will resist?

We have many dedicated and good public servants in the FDA, EPA, Department of Education, etc.

I'm wondering if they can mount an effective resistance against what's coming?
At the very least couldn't they make life miserable for people like DeVos, Tillerson, Perry, etc??

in many cases, that would be a bad thing for people receiving services. Repubs in Congress have already been strangling them with budget cuts. Sequester didn't help, other than it at least held funding at a minimal level. Now, the breaks will be off for the Repubs.

Bureaucracies always resist anything other than their own internal organizational logic.

The DOE flat out refused to give the trump people what they were asking for. That is, the list of climate scientists as well as the list of the top 20 scientists at each lab with their publicatiions, websites, salaries, etc..

If I worked for any of these departments, I'd look for another department to work in before thousands are doing so. I think repugs really are going to close these down and send the duties back to the states.

They've been dreaming for this for 30 years. Americas in trouble.
