if you were flying on a plane with the immediate family of the president-elect/president? Wouldn't the immediate family be a target for terrorists?

With the money that the Trump family has - don't you think that they should be flying private versus putting common folk at risk by flying commercial?

Just asking?

Note that I'm not condoning the actions of this guy harassing Ivanka and her husband.

and they err on the side of caution. If you consider the job, being trapped in a plane for hours and responsible for the safety of many people, if they think there might be trouble ejecting an unruly passenger before takeoff is reasonable.

Why not leave it as a comment in passing? Something like saying "wow I'm glad I don't have to sit next to a bigot like you" That makes it much less likely that you'll be kicked off the plane. Personally a piece of trash like Ivanka Trump isn't worth the inconvenience of being kicked off a plane to me.

If she can't handle the public speaking their mind in her presence, then she needs to stay away from places where she will encounter the public. The kids being present makes no difference given the gravity of the situation. It's not like their grandfather is the new mayor of some small backwater in Alabama.

These evil people shouldn't be allowed to show their faces in public.
We have every right to stand up to them and we should do so at every opportunity.
For all we know her highness started this with a rude comment or privileged glance at us commoners.
If you follow tRump you're gonna get what's coming to you..we Americans don't like being played the fools, if they think they can steal elections, PRESIDENTIAL elections no less and have us act like it's business as usual they're mistaken. We need to scream bloody murder for however long it takes to get this asshole and his family out of office.
I hope J20 brings the inauguration to a standstill, I hope tRump can't govern because of the protests, I hope the GooPers in congress are so tied up explaining Donald of orange to their voters that they accomplish nothing.

Maybe their private charter plane had a problem or something. They flew a private jet from SF to Hawaii. Otherwise, I can't imagine them flying coach anywhere, and never on Jet Blue. Too many of the hoi polloi on those flights. This is a hard time to find last-minute seats, so that's probably all they could find.

Actions have consequences.

Sorry that your kids got an eyeful of the public's distaste for you. My kids are literally being put in grave danger because of her father and she is in full support of him.

How many more kids are going to have to see their fathers beaten and killed in front of them as we continue to marginalize minorities. How many more kids are going to be ripped from their parents when they start rounding up people for deportation? How many kids are going to live in terror as they once again start having them crawl under their desks to protect themselves against Nuclear blasts.

So yeah fuck em. Maybe if the kids get an earful they won't grow up to be sadistic little fucks like their parents, uncles, aunts and grandparents.

Fuck these people. Public anger is necessary now.

who is actively involved in pushing Trump's agenda, serving as an advisor, will have office space in the White House, and is participating in meetings with foreign leaders. She is a public figure by choice, and if she goes in public she should expect people to voice their opinions. She doesn't get to push her father's awful, hateful agenda and then expect everyone to shut up and take it.

As for her children, she shouldn't be bringing them on a commercial flight if she doesn't want them exposed to the public. The Obamas were able to keep their children out of the limelight. If she brings them out in public like she did and then expect people to shut up because the children are there, then she's using them as human shields and that makes her an even shittier person.

Jetblue if I have the chance they have more seat space in coach than the other airlines. As I recall they don't have much 'first class' on most flights. Given the time of the year it could be that coach was all that was available together because of traveling with children. It really sucks to have kids two or three seats away.
