(and I don't count the ones who were replaced, from either party, who were replaced when they said they would not vote for their state's choice)

Electors, regardless of party, are hard core party supporters. The idea that enough Republican electors would have not voted for Trump to force it to the House (which would have voted for Trump anyway) was so absurd it borders on delusional.

I grew up around. Why would hard core political people, the type of folk who want to be electors, vary from their core values?

Moronic and pig headed as it is I get why the four Democratic electors switched their votes. a pyric victory is still a victory.
