Remember this? It's Jan 2011 & the House read the Constitution out loud. Why did they do this???

From the NYT:

The reading of the full Constitution — for the first time in the history of the House — came about in recognition of the influence of the Tea Party, which helped send scores of new members to the chamber, and the new condition set by Republicans that each bill must cite the part of the Constitution that justifies its existence.

So why, I ask you, is this not brought up by the Democrats in the House of Representatives each and everytime the Republicans want to pass a bill on women's rights? Where is this in the Constitution?

Where in the Constitution does it say they can deny healthcare to our citizens?

Where in the Constitution does it say that the rich deserve tax breaks?

Where in the Constitution does it say that we should deny food to the hungry?

Where in the Constitution does it say that we are a Christian nation & everyone must adopt the teachings of Christianity, cherry-picked of course, whether we are a Christian or not?

I could go on and on....

But I do have to ask, aren't the Democrats missing a huge opportunity to make fools out of the fools that are today's GOP?

Where in the Constitution does it say the government must provide healthcare to our citizens?

Where in the Constitution does it say that the rich shall be taxed?

Where in the Constitution does it say the government must feed the hungry?

Have you read it?

be tied to the constitution starting with the 112th Congress which began in 2011.

The Affordable Healthcare Reform Act passed in 2009.
The tax cuts are the Bush Tax cuts.
And food stamps - was definitely before 2011!
