If the republicans had been refused hearings for their Supreme Court pick, the Pres. in the WH would have installed their pick during a recess window. Why did Obama not do this?

Sounds like Eeyore: let's not cause trouble, we don't want people to not like us, protesting makes us look like trouble makers, blah, blah blah.
But WHY is he saying to stop at inauguration day? If we can't stop things before then, it needs to be on-going until voting rights are fixed, Citizen's United is fixed, and Gerrymandering is fixed.

First we do need something to happen BEFORE then. Someone step up. Maybe committed liberals are only 20% of the population, but I'm betting most of the country couldn't run if 20%1 in 5 of us picked a day to call in with the blue flu. Or picketed or something?

For the sake of the country will someone coordinate some real direct action that is both feasible and would have a real impact? Something, anyone?

those that will lead marches down Wall Street demanding that these firms give a fair wage to their workers.

The workers get laid off and they float off on golden parachutes.
