I recall in my yute how cancer patients were viewed as contagious. How entire rooms were cleared when an AIDS sufferer entered (just as it was being identified as a retrovirus). And how mental illness was something to be beaten or scorned.

He showed his irresponsibility by driving with a known condition that could cause serious injuries or death..
