competing against Slytherin. I'm not saying we don't have people with the skill sets to fight a group that is in it to win at all cost and feel they are pre-ordained to cheat, lie and steal; but we are short on courage, because Gryffindor took the bulk of those people; and the ones with the strongest knowledge base are in Ravenclaw.
If we had courage, we would be battling it out on the airways, taking on the Republicans and their lies, leaving a strong public record that anyone can follow to help them understand why Republicans are not fit to rule. If we had a base of intelligensia, we would be suing every time we found a precinct in a Dem area that had faulty polls machines that were bleeding out votes.
Without those two qualities, we're left with whimsy and ingenuity that has not yet manifested itself. Not saying it's not there, but it does mean we may need to look to the bench for a novel approach.

(5,122 posts)How often do you hear things like "Imagine if Hillary was helped by Putin", the Republicans would go ballistic.
But, us Democrats, no. We're trying to work with Trump.
Most of America agrees with us on so many issues yet we can't seem to get that message across.
We need to wake up and realize that what we have been doing is not only not working, but is now actually backfiring.
Time for real change.
