I was just wondering....funny how they were all "occupy wallstreet" and kinda silent now.
Maybe their purpose was the divide the left...

(54,013 posts)I don't think their purpose was to divide the left, but I remember the "threat" and now that we have over 17 agencies (supposedly foreign agencies are adding info, but those claims aren't from mainstream sources) basically confirming Russian interference, where is "Legion"?

(475 posts)So it's ridiculed by the communities it sprouted from. All the actual hackers left and probably got jobs at cyber security firms (I did). The social portion, and it's semi-ironic culture merged with the alt-right.

(13,081 posts)And are on probation or even prison. They probably don't want to go to Gitmo or Supermax. There were interviews with several of them on Vice the other night.
Plus, those who remain are probably so infiltrated with Feds or snitches that they're probably useless. They'll come back just as soon as something else shiny catches the attention of the authorities. These things come and go in waves, usually.
