President Obama requested it on Thursday and it was out the next day.
Hillary mentioned it in at least one of the debates.

Getting played yet again.

As summer turned to fall, Russian hackers turned almost all their attention to the Democrats. Virtually all the emails they released publicly were potentially damaging to Clinton and the Democrats, not Republicans, the official told Reuters.

"That was a major clue to their intent," the official said. "If all they wanted to do was discredit our political system, why publicize the failings of just one party, especially when you have a target like Trump?"

A second official familiar with the report said the intelligence analysts' conclusion about Russia's motives does not mean the intelligence community believes that Moscow's efforts altered or significantly affected the outcome of the election.

In October, the U.S. government publicly accused Russia of a campaign of cyber attacks against Democratic Party organizations ahead of the Nov. 8 presidential election. Obama has said he warned Putin about consequences for the attacks.

There has been a change in the news cycle in recent years. Friday afternoon used to be the "news dump," where people who don't want people to hear the bad news spill it and know that the proles won't read the papers.

But the news industry has adapted. Now, the Sunday papers lead with the Friday night bombshell, focusing and refining their stories in realtime on the Internet over the weekend. The talking heads all make the Sunday talk show circuit in order to focus the media on the stories they want told. And it's all primarily controlled by the Republican Party.

You only need two examples to see how it works: the Donald Trump "grab them by the pussy" tape and the Hillary Clinton FBI email smear, both of which emerged on Friday evenings.

In this case, the Republican party has one last shot at bagging the entire federal government, forever, and this time they have the support of the CIA and the Obama Administration, too. We don't elect the President, the Electoral College does on December 19th. This disclosure is timed to influence that event.

They're telling all of you--again--what you didn't listen to back in the summer, that Donald Trump is a Russian shill and, no doubt, guilty of espionage charges. The reason why they're doing it now, why Senator McConnell demanded it be kept quiet before the election, is because they're gonna steal this election from both candidates and everyone else. There are two ways to do it:

1) Sway the electors and the states with this news dump, focus the media on the Russian angle, and demand that states withhold their electoral votes and that individual electors vote for someone other than Donald Trump.

If that works, the election goes to the next Congress, which convenes on January 3, to decide. They are required to choose among the top three candidates who got electoral votes, but in this case only two did... unless just one elector votes for, say, Paul Ryan instead. Congress will determine that both of the people we the people voted for are disqualified from holding office, and pick Ryan.

2) If that doesn't work, either by Trump winning a majority of votes in the Electoral College, or by Ryan not getting a vote, or by someone else getting more votes than Ryan, Congress will simply not vote to certify the election results. Nobody gets elected President, and Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the House, inherits the office as Acting President under continuity of government laws and amendments.

This was the Republican plan all year long. They didn't have a candidate that could beat Hillary Clinton, so they harped on the fake email story so that they can claim that she is disqualified from taking office. They may not have expected Donald Trump to win the nomination, but they have enough dirt on him, Cruz, and anyone else they didn't like to pull the same trick.

Now, however, it's a matter of national security, too. Donald Trump really is a Russian shill, which should surprise none of you, and he has to be stopped before he can pardon himself. So the Republican Party has managed to co-opt the Obama Administration into helping them, and once they've got it all, there will never be another fair election in America.
