Sanders on Trump pick: This is how a rigged economy works
JENNIFER CALFAS
The Hill

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (I) on Friday blasted President-elect Donald Trump's reported selection of Goldman Sachs President Gary Cohn for a top economic adviser role.

“It’s called a rigged economy and this is how it works,” Sanders tweeted.

Sanders, a staunch critic of Wall Street, made the "rigged economy" one of his main campaign issues during his run for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Looks like Bernie is turning into the public face of Democratic Party resistance. Guess that's why they gave him the job.

rather than calling on someone, like say, Elizabeth Warren or Nancy Pelosi or Kristen Gillibrand because hey, who listens to a woman anyway? They're just some pussies that need to be grabbed to keep them in place.

Those messages don't belong to Sanders, it's just the media like a white male hero to save the world...Batman and Robin and Superman and Captain Marvel...all white...oh so is Santa Claus

However, she ceded some of her leadership there to Sanders when she didn't run in the primaries. Many Sanders supporters would have been all-in for Warren.
