Trumps Likely Labor Pick, Andrew Puzder, Is Critic of Minimum Wage IncreasesBy NOAM SCHEIBER and MAGGIE HABERMANDEC. 8, 2016
President-elect Donald J. Trump is expected to name Andrew F. Puzder, chief executive of the company that operates the fast food outlets Hardees and Carls Jr. and an outspoken critic of the worker protections enacted by the Obama administration, to be secretary of labor, people close to the transition said on Thursday.
Mr. Puzder has spent his career in the private sector and has opposed efforts to expand eligibility for overtime pay, while arguing that large minimum wage increases hurt small businesses and lead to job loss among low-skilled workers.
He strongly supports repealing the Affordable Care Act, which he maintains has helped create a restaurant recession because rising premiums have left middle- and working-class people with less money to spend dining out.

(9,874 posts)Whatever it is he is picking someone for you can bet it will be the worst possible pick for that particular job. There have been no exceptions so far. The other day he meets with Al Gore, then the next morning his pick for the EPA is someone who hates the EPA.

Boy millions of underpaid workers who thought Dump would get them 15 bucks an hour are going to be in shock soon!
And all the BS promises about hands off of social security and medicare will be proven to be the biggest lie of all to the idiot deplorables that voted for Dumpf and his party!

(9,874 posts)I think he is just feeding the right wing raw meat so that they are indebted to him and will give him anything that he wants. Trouble is, I don't think he has any idea what he really wants. First guess, however, is to have them let him alone and continue running his business while he is President.
If he had run and won as a Democrat he'd be appointing people with completely opposite views. I really don't think he believes in anything, except himself.
