That excerpt from the police report does not say "he discovered Pizzagate was a lie".

It says he surrendered "when he found no evidence".

For all we know, the shithead still believes it, but had the misfortune not to find the secret door or whatever.

I don't doubt the words of the report, and I know there is preprinted stationery (2nd link), but that is usually run through a printer from a computer. This looks like early 1980's typewriter stuff.
