Trumps team is lying about Taiwan call: It reportedly took months to plan

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/12/trumps-team-is-lying-about-taiwan-call-it-reportedly-took-months-to-plan/

Sources close to the president of Taiwan and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump are giving the lie to the Trump team’s assertion that a controversial call from Taiwan’s Pres. Tsai Ing-wen was simply a spontaneous call of congratulations.

The Washington Post spoke with sources within the Taiwanese government and the Trump transition team who confirmed that the call was actually planned months in advance after extensive negotiations on each side.

The Post‘s Anne Gearan, Philip Rucker and Simon Denyer said that Trump allies characterized the call as “an intentionally provocative move” designed to demonstrate the president-elect’s willingness to dispense with old diplomatic enmities and alliances.

China has lodged a formal diplomatic complaint in the wake of the call, causing many to further question whether the Republican president-elect’s is temperamentally fit or competent to govern.

“Very early on, Taiwan was on that list,” Yates told the Post. “Once the call was scheduled, I was told that there was a briefing for President-elect Trump. They knew that there would be reaction and potential blowback.”

Tsai spokesman Alex Huang told Reuters, “Of course both sides agreed ahead of time before making contact.”

Wants to build a resort in Taiwan -- thus the months of planning. I really believe that Trump in the next four years will start a war merely because he will try to strong-arm the wrong government into allowing a resort in their country.

Also, what the hell is Trump doing without contacting the state department - - the majority of which he will be working for him in a month if they all don't just quit -- before contacting world leaders.

OK, first we hear Trump talks to Taiwan, and we all think he is being highly irresponsible, which he would be. Then everybody is saying "but wait, it was planned months ahead." By whom? His Christie led transition team? Who were his nominated advisors then?

Or is THIS the ruse to cover up that in fact he did have an irresponsible, spontaneous conversation?

A casual phone call to the president of Taiwan is a flagrantly stupid thing to do. I can't imagine the stupidity of it would not have dawned on someone in Trump's circle if it took months to plan.

nothing at all for America, no consideration of what impact his personal enrichment attempts and bungling years of stated US diplomatic policy will cost. He'd send us to war with China, or have them pull back all their loans and bankrupt us, just to make a few million in his and his kids pockets. That's why he president, all other lies aside.

When does this excrement ever speak the truth? Why should anything ever surprise us. He is taking our attention off the real issue.... violation on global scale of conflict of interests, pay for play, etc.......and his businesses and connections to russia through his "team".

They way that the world has been browbeaten into dealing with the Taiwan situation is absurd. It's a country, it has been on its own for 60-70 years. It is long past time to recognize reality here.

So, if it was planned months ago, HOW? And by what team? How many times did Trump change his team?

unless

Someone knew for certain that Donald was going to win.

unless

Someone had this all arranged. Someone who is determined to disrupt the world.

Vlad, is it you?

None of this makes any sense unless you come to the conclusion that someone working with Trump was absolutely certain he'd win. And how would that person know?
There is something so disturbing about all of this.

they received a bribe, i mean a campaign contribution, months ago from someone seeking to shake up the sino-american relationship.
they promised they would.
that is their idea of making a plan.
