Could Trump finally force the media to admit both major parties AREN'T the same?

The media's false equivalence between the two major parties is almost like surreal performance art or a Monty Python sketch, where a sportscaster interviews a badminton player about an upcoming match, then Leatherface comes out and chainsaws the first interviewee in half, and the sportscaster asks him, "And how do you think you'll do in today's match?"

Are Trump's faults and the GOP that made them possible finally so egregious that they have to admit one guy has a chainsaw and is wearing a mask made of human skin?

YES--Trump is so openly ignorant, racist, etc. that they will have to acknowledge he is the result of decades of Republicans selling those as positive qualifications
0 (0%)
NO--They will acknowledge TRUMP himself is all those things but will still treat the GOP as a whole as normal
0 (0%)
NO--They will ultimately give Trump the same deference and respect as Obama or any other politician and if he inspires a lynching or something, they will still say "both sides do it."

of other areas.

We also need Democrats to say no to Wall Street on some big issues and show that the good of the country is more important than the good of Goldman Sachs.

Changing course on privatizing public education would be a good start.

The topic was government spending. Under Obama, government-spending was bad. But now that Trump is President, government-spending has a new "meaning" and is no longer bad.

It's subjective and true for a lot of people. Particularly those who sat out the election.

and talking heads will protect their cushy incomes and positions in the inner circles.

This is not going out on a limb. "News" became about profits long ago, and the so-called journalists who are regulars on screen sold out long ago.

Once again, if you value the role of the press: TURN OFF TV AND CABLE NEWS. It is extremely corrupt. Read your news after vetting the sources carefully.

Trumpism is to be regarded as the new normal for Republicans
Republicans and Democrats are to be regarded as 2 sides of the same coin
therefore Trumpists and Democrats are to be regarded equivalently

at least that's my interpretation of the media's marching orders
