So is it an actual recount going ahead? or are they just looking for hanging chad situations?

(15,212 posts)I think their will be an audit too, and that's the most important part.
As things are going, I'm pretty sure the paperwork will get filed for MI and PA on time too.
I dont think it will over turn the result, but if it shows up errors that can be fixed for future elections,
then its a good thing.

(798 posts)vote for Clinton if an audit shows election fraud in Wisconsin. Won't happen though. Only thing to be gained is the stench of illegitimacy on a "minority President."

(7,290 posts)But based on Stein's website, looks like they're going the route of having voters request a recount. They actually have to file in every voting district/precinct (9100+ in PA), with signatures from three voters in each district/precinct.

(7,290 posts)Under the PA recount, she's asking for three volunteers from each district/precinct who can sign the petitions that her attorney's are preparing.
Lots of coordination to get 27,000+ signatures on petitions and submitted by Monday, but we'll see.
If she can't get that together, she may well go the route of challenging the results themselves.

Wisconsin had been filed 90 minutes before the deadline. Now it's on to Michigan and then Pennsylvania.
We get a recount, but if makes a difference, who knows?
Keep your fingers crossed.
