One thing that I don't get is why wait until Jan 20 & 21 for general strike & big marches?
That stuff should be happening last week. And yes there will be some over this holiday weekend, like Black Friday. I never by anything anyway. That is the normal thing we do every year. It doesn't even feel like there is a big push for boycotting Black Friday then past years. Yet this Black Friday would be the prefect time to actually pull off an all out general strike and boycott.
Nothing but not making a profit seems to be the only way to get any attention.
We need to be doing what Civil Right Activists did during the 1950's &1960's.
We should not be showing up for no Macy's Day Parades. None of that normal stuff, even normal Holiday stuff. Nothing right now is normal.
Now I am not saying don't have Thanksgiving or Christmas. We should celebrate both. But scale it way back on the spending money. Especially spending money at places that support orange man and his party. I know I am not spending much. And I just got a nice inheritance and was gonna have a real nice Christmas. Not now. Now I am only getting gifts for kids in the family, bought at dem leaning, as eco friendly, small and local, establishments possible. I will make some donations to places like the ACLU, pet shelters, woman's groups, local schools, and other places that help people. If I can get away with it, no lights and no tree.
The Grab'em by the wallet campaign is awesome!
And that million women march is great, but I wish we could do things like that sooner.
I just don't understand waiting so long for some of this to show our displeasure of being forced to except the runner up as the winner. Especially since the runner up is a mad man who is completely unqualified and unfit for this position. And those are his good qualities.
It's frustrating!
