Once you understand that Trump is the supreme projectionist..

Psychological projection - Wikipedia - private
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_projection
Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against their own unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others.

...and that he projects onto others his own very worst psychological impulses, it is easy to see the shit creek we are up.

Donald Trump Basically Says Conflicts Of Interest Aren’t Illegal If The President Has Them

<snip>
WASHINGTON ― President-elect Donald Trump told The New York Times Tuesday that laws around conflicts of interest don’t apply to him, and he can simply keep running his businesses from the White House.

“In theory I could run my business perfectly and then run the country perfectly,” Trump said, according to tweets from New York Times reporters interviewing the president-elect Tuesday. “There’s never been a case like this.”

He is technically correct on both counts.

Federal conflict of interest laws do not apply to the president of the United States, and the obvious conflicts of interest created from his ownership of a global real estate empire are unprecedented in the nation’s history. Just because the federal laws mandating other federal officials to place their assets into a true blind trust run by an independent trustee do not apply to the president, does not mean that Trump’s conflicts of interest are not real.

Accused of doing cocaine before the 1st and 2nd debates he suggested a "drug test" because Hillary could not possibly have been that "lively."

The motherfucker did cocaine before all of the debates because that is the kind of man he really is. Then he managed to divert attention from an suspicion by illegitimately projecting that behavior onto his opponent.

Sorry for my language but I deplore the man.

Remember the one where he pointed to his testicles and told everyone that he could assure them that he had no problem down there. That was a classic !

Its common, really, and something you can observe in many people. The general rule is - if you know what someone hates in others, you know what that person struggles with in him or herself. Its normal, except when it becomes an entirely outwardly directed pathological drive, such as we see in trump; he seems to be entirely blind to his own faults, and maintains that blindness by energetically projecting it onto others.

In a very real sense, all of his weaknesses are fully on display. Which makes him very weak, very easily exploited and manipulated. A lousy psychology for a president, but the remedy for that is a long campaign of exploiting and manipulating him. If we don't do it, the russians certainly will.
