Word from someone who served with him in the Navy back in the 70's is that Bannon is a loose cannon who is only successful when he can blame others for his poor management style and intellectual shortcomings. He's Peter-principled himself too far up the political ladder, he's now on the big stage - too big to walk away from, and there's nothing to hide behind.
