You young (or old) confederate flag waving Trump voters, you just voted to kill your grandmother.

Paul 'Ayn Rand' Ryan is going to take away your parents and grandparents Medicare and replace it with a voucher. Which will be worth just about enough to pay for a headstone. Social Security will be next, but you weren't planning on living long anyway cause the End Times are coming, right?

Ryan's plan phases in the voucher plan over the next ten years or so. It's the younger people who need to start worrying because the benefits they've paid for so far will be taken away and replaced with basically nothing.

it won't affect people who are already getting it, but will be phased in over time, starting with new enrollees in 2024. They'd get a voucher to use to buy private insurance, which of course would be completely inadequate. Even though this plan won't affect those of us who are currently in the program, it needs to be opposed vigorously.

More and more though it appears that this will not be the present plan, which will "modernize" medicare and not a phased in plan.

college educations because that nest egg is going to have to go for eldercare. Unless, of course, they plan on killing them off.
