He's going to collapse under the weight of true responsibility, which he has never had to face in his life.

He will likely, and very soon, go what the British like to call 'barking mad'. He'll have to be removed. Pence has all the personality of a damp dishrag. The GOP will have to invent another vote-grabber if they want to prevail...

There's only so much that can be done to prop up an immature narcissistic megalomaniac who also happens to be heading into a job that is WAY over his intellectual and psychological capabilities. I don't know how it will happen, but I am pretty darned sure it will.

As the capitulation of GOP politicians like Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney have shown, there will be no real resistance to Donald Trump from the GOP. His message has been cruder than their message, but his crude racism is different only in expression from the racism of a Mitch McConnell or Jeff Sessions. The GOP will march to Trump's orders because they agree with him and because gerrymandering and vote suppression ensures that their seats are safe until at least after 2020.

Even with that orange pig in there, pence will still be running things. tRump will be sitting on Pence's lap. Remember Douchbag Von Fuck Face--one of Satan's spawns sons--said whoever is Vice-pres will be RUNNING the show. So, we ARE stuck with pence. tRump won't be doing anything but mostly grifting and paying off his debts to the Oligarchs/putin and turning himself into a REAL billionaire.

It was a little unfair to Gerald R Ford (Who would have made a far better President than what we have coming to us) but stinging nevertheless:

&quot Name here) F*** you! / Who the Hell elected you?"

An oldie-but-goodie whose time may have come around again.

He'll be doing the actual work - he's going to be the man behind the curtain, like Cheney was for Bush. Trump has absolutely no clue about how anything in government works, whereas Pence, notwithstanding his retrograde politics, was in Congress and was a governor, so he at least understands the machinery. Trump will be spending his time in his trashy nouveau-riche, Versailles-as-redecorated-by-Saddam-Hussein's-pimp apartment in NYC, doing as little actual work as possible while completely ignoring all conflict of interest rules and taking advantage of his position to line his pockets by doing lucrative deals with foreign governments. Meanwhile Pence will be pulling all the levers, appointing like-minded theocrats and proposing legislation right out of the 12th century, that Trump will sign off on without reading.

The only positive aspect of having Pence in charge, whether or not Trump remains the president, is that Pence might be slightly less likely to start WWIII because somebody insulted him.

That was in the primaries.

Then they predicted he wouldn't show for the debates.

Then they predicted the RNC would never let him continue as nominee.

Then they predicted he'd lose in a landslide.

Then they predicted he'll never take office. Good luck with that one.

Hella prognosticators here. They just never get it right.

So I agree with you - dream on.

Many of us know what shape your cholesterol has to be in to be put on statins.
Mine was 210 but underlying it was thick in the blood.
I opted for weight loss surgery.
( not for that alone of course)...
Statins can help control that but doesn't erase the causes of the high cholesterol.
He's fat, gets minimum exercise, eats garbage.
He's 70. High stress levels ( or he wouldn't Tweet about SNL).
I'm looking forward to him dropping dead on the job.

He could decide halfway through his term that all this Presidenting is boring, and all those conflict-of-interest rules are interfering with how much money he can make, and that he would graciously leave the job to Pence.

Certainly I doubt that he'll run for a second term. But he can do an awful lot of harm in four years.
