3. I've been thinking, the Trump administration might fail so miserably and be so autocratic

4. Rhee is an opportunist Republican Tool

She may have D next to her name, but she was responsible for a major testing scandal in Washington DC public schools. She wanted to improve things by tying teacher ratings to test scores and then firing teachers who didn't meet the standard. Test scores went and she was hailed as a hero. Then it turned it out the scores went up due to widespread cheating by teachers afraid of losing their jobs. She has spent the years since speaking to right-wing education groups about the wonderful benefits of punishing teachers and school choice.

5. Agreed. It's astounding to me that she claims to be a Democrat. Is there a way

to vet people's actual actions so they cannot claim to be a Democrat if they push straight Republican policies as she did? It irked me that she and Duncan got the Dem go-ahead to destroy education with basically RW policies.
