He's been emphatic that he's a Christian, and his appointments and positions show strong adherence to the evangelical strain, which doesn't support Universalism, so I have to assume he believes someone who's Jewish must be consigned to Hell after death. Must keep him up at night.

(58,785 posts)God's true followers get a pass on the prohibitions and threats in the Bible, seemingly only to be feared by nonbelievers. Or they would fear this most famous of doctrines, for instance, which could not be clearer.
Proverbs 6:16-19
