Really, thank you Lorne MICHAELS & SNL (despite naysayers)

"present at the creation" but just a fan on the street, am not claiming creative ownership. Contrarian, never shared my Hippie Lib cohorts' tastes (never liked COSBY, CARLIN, whomever).

Anyway, thanks for Tina FEY's palin-crap and Alex BALDWIN's drump-crap. We (decent, normal, inoffensive) people are going to need you for four (hopefully fewer) years.

am just a blue collar cog nowhere. Anyway, saw the beginnings of SNL with my real Hippie acquaintances. Most of the time it didn't sit well with me like it did with the Hippies. I never liked Chevy or BELUSHI, almost liked ACKROYD (well, he's Canadian). The one I always liked was Jane.

The scene of all those early years that connected with me was when Desi ARNAZ hosted and in the main skit he was dressed as a mobster and did a machine gun thing. (I'm not 'splaining more because TOO MISUNDERSTOOD!1)

Back then, wow, we didn't know Desi was a Cuban or what 1stGenExileWingnut was (I don't know if Desi was BEFORE that). I loved Lucy for her Socialist grandfather - OLD America.

So, Lorne, thanks for Tina and Alex slaying Grifter PALIN and a-hole DRUMPF.
