Here's some info about Jeff Sessions:

Jeff Sessions prosecuted civil rights activists for trying to register Black voters.
says the ACLU

Ronald Reagan tapped Sessions to serve on the federal bench and the Senate judiciary committee , but rejected him after testimony
that he had supposedly called the ACLU and NAACP "un-American" and "communist-inspired," as well as made racist remarks.
The accusations came from Thomas Figures, a black assistant U.S. attorney who worked for Sessions who said Sessions called him "boy"
and had made a joke about how he thought the KKK was "O.K. until [he] found out they smoked pot."
(Sessions later said that the comment was not serious, but did apologize for it)

Another prosecutor, J. Gerald Hebert, said Sessions had called a white lawyer "a disgrace to his race" for representing black clients.

In 1986, Sessions became only the second nominee to the federal judiciary in 48 years whose nomination was killed by the Senate Judiciary Committee.. Even an Alabama Senator, Howell Heflin, voted against him because of his demonstrated racism.

Ranked by National Journal in 2007 as the fifth-most conservative U.S. Senator, says Wiki.

( He DID vote against TARP, tho)

We may end up missing Alberto Gonzales......

Maybe that was the Con's way of eliminating racial prejudice by the cops...just ignore it. If nobody hears about it, it must be gone.
