Declare it a Trump merchandising tool, like "60 Minutes" and Melanoma's whorish wrist. If retailers lose 50+% of their Black Friday sales they will know we mean business and aren't accepting "normalization" of this fascist who lost the popular vote.

I, for one, am in no mood to be thankful or cheery in this shit year of 2016.

In my house, it is buy nothing day. We spend time together as a family, eating, talking, watching movies. For me, it is a time to spend more time with family.

In 20 years, the only money I have spent on this day was a cup of coffee with a friend who was in town only for that one day.

I will continue to celebrate buy nothing day for as long as I am on this planet.

17. I'm torn on this one. My daughter is in retail, not sure what she wants to do with her life

and this is a chance to make some money and get more hours. She's even working on thanksgiving evening for the overtime.
