My wife just pointed out something that worries me.

She's a diplomat who has had a brief to the UN before (though not right now).

The 5 permanent security council members are:

Russia
China
US
UK
France

Le Pen is running for election in France next year, and will probably win.

That was a nice world we had...

The current trend of voters isn't globally isolated to the U.K. and the US.

We ignore ignore the current trend at our own global peril.

I didn't see Brexit as something the populist would permit, neither did I see Trump as such. Yet here we are.
