Comey may be under investigation for Clinton letter:

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/303612-comey-may-be-under-investigation-for-clinton-letter

A federal agency has likely opened an investigation into whether FBI Director James Comey is interfering in the presidential campaign by disclosing new materials related to the federal probe concerning Hillary Clinton's emails.

An Office of Special Counsel (OSC) spokesman declined to address whether the office opened an investigation in response to a complaint by Richard Painter, a former White House ethics lawyer. However, a spokesman noted that it generally would.

Good news.

that prevents appointed officials from using their offices to affect national elections.

There was no other reason for him to issue such a poisonous announcement over emails that were not on Clinton's server.

He's a Republican hack who has been trying to pin something on the Clintons for decades.

His dirty connections probably root under our democracy like some tree roots do to water. He's undoubtedly linked to every dirty politician in Washington.

You won't find an attorney general who will want to touch this.

up so hugely, and he has no alternative but to save the integrity of the FBI. Perhaps it will be someone within the FBI who will have to have the talk. The Glass of whiskey and Loaded Revolver talk.

Right now, it would look political if Obama fired him, but if he was found guilty of violating the Hatch Act, then that saves Obama (and Clinton) from having to fire him.

Keith Olbermann's Closer #33 today reported suspected collusion
between Comey, Chaffetz, and apparently the Trump campaign on some
level.

Comey reported it publicly, Chaffetz got first wind and added the words
"Case reopened" which KO said Comey did not say at all. Only later did
House Dems receive notice of Comey's letter.

Comey may have succumbed to pressure, colluded, or just be incompetent
or have bad judgment. Why would a man of his stature and intelligence
go rogue and think he could sway an entire election by public declarations
and then feign innocence?

I'm thinking tentacles. Does OSC go there, or are they only limited to
Comey's actions detailed in the ethics complaint?
