I assume you know you don’t have to use Yahoo's headline; that rule about having to use the source's headline only applies to LBN.

...AND I COMPLETELY AGREE.

Comey's intent is NOT TO ELECT TRUMP. I believe he is part of the "old guard" republicans that see tRump as a blight on and a danger to their party. NO, Comey's intent is to offer cover to down-ballot republicans, to limit the damage to Congressional republicans. COMEY WAS TRYING TO SWING THE ELECTION.

Some of the media coverage that initially came out (and talking heads) is just trying to stop the Dems from taking over the congress. They prefer gridlock.

No, No, No, Mr. Comey, we understand your intentions far too well: (1) this is an attempt to cover your FBI ass BIG TIME, to try and avoid having you or other members of the FBI subjected to a brutally partisaned Congressional investigation about why you did not indict or prosecute Clinton earlier; and (2) this is your "gift" to the Republican Congressional High Command, introducing this foul smelling heap of crap to help sway the electorate, with hope to limit the ballot damage to other republicans in Senate and House Races.

SHAME ON YOU, MR. COMEY! SHAME!

"Comey explained why he sent the letter to Congressional leaders in a separate letter to his employees on Friday, acknowledging that "in a brief letter and in the middle of an election season, there is significant risk of being misunderstood."

"We don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed," Comey wrote. "I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record.""

One of the things that always frustrates me about Obma is his urge to be bi-partisan. Comey should never have been hired, huge, huge mistake that I hope doesn't throw our country over to fascist control by the orange fuhrer. Comey needs to bwe tried in court and thrown in jail.

...The first minority POTUS, elected lawfully and without interference from the SCOTUS, among others, extending an olive branch to the Republicans to help the country heal from the disastrous, dishonest and frankly, ILLEGAL cheney*bush* debacle. Unfortunately EVERY ATTEMPT BY PRESIDENT OBAMA to make peace with Republicans has earned him a knife in the back, INCLUDING the appointment of FBI Director Comey. Think of Comey as a "sleeper agent," who ELEVEN DAYS BEFORE A NATIONAL ELECTION, activates and does his duty for his Rethuglican High Command (Freedom Caucus) masters.

Uma Abedeen TOLD the FBI during questioning BACK IN APRIL about all the devices/email accounts she used to conduct State Department business. Yet SOMEHOW the FBI overlooked(?) examining her emails on/at these locations UNTIL, as Comey would have us believe, the FBI just stumbled upon five weeks ago during a different investigation? WELL, IF the FBI stumbled upon these five weeks ago, why did Comey WAIT until NOW, 12 days before a Presidential election, to notify Congress about these emails. He also CLAIMS they don't know what is on them? WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP....THE FBI AND COMEY ALREADY KNOW what is on the emails.....NOTHING. AND, the ONE AND ONLY benefit that can be derived by this announcement is to SCUTTLE Clinton's chances.

The more you examine the facts, the more it looks like a treasonous attack on the election and not a lame excuse as Comey is now trying to use to cover his foul deed.

There is no way tRump can be elected POTUS. Comey's goal is to limit the rethuglican Congressional bloodshed.

Wonder how much drumpf paid him? No, there's no reason to believe that's true, just my snark, but given what's happened, and the cons record of bribery, would not be surprised. Even if no pay for play, Comey still violated the Hatch act and needs jail time, and not some cushy executive version. let him hang with some of the folks he put there, see what happens. Yeah, I'm, totally livid.

A centrist is now upset that centrist policies backfired. Maybe we should stop caring what centrists who give us bad ideas think.

Krugman was also telling us a few months back that it was pointless to argue about healthcare reform because it was mostly solved. Ah well.
