Mexican president says meeting Trump could have gone better

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto didn't like his meeting with Donald Trump, telling a newspaper that it was a "fast decision."

Peña told La Razon on Monday that Trump's visit to Mexico City in August was "very controversial" and he would take a different course of action if he had to host him a second time.

"Maybe today would be different, I think I made a very fast decision," Peña said.

Peña said he invited Hillary Clinton and Trump to Mexico to discuss U.S. and Mexico relations but Trump was the only candidate who agreed to the meeting. Trump referred to Mexicans in America as rapists and criminals when he announced his Republican bid for the White House in summer 2015.
