This election isn't over until it's over. Today's Investor’s Business Daily tracking poll -- which predicted the outcome of the 2004, 2008 and 2012 elections more closely than rival surveys -- gives Donald Trump a 2-point lead over Hillary Clinton when Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein are thrown into the mix. The same poll gives Trump a 1-point edge in a head-to-head contest with Hillary. The Los Angeles Times/University of Southern California daily tracking poll has the two major candidates tied a 44 percent apiece for the week. As of today, they're separated by just 0.3 point, with Trump retaining the edge.

ABC, on the other hand, gives Hillary a 12-point lead.

Take nothing for granted. Vote, and get others to as well. Our fates depend on it.

4. Don't take anything for granted - but ABC called it better than IBD/TIPP in 2012.

They had Obama +1, ABC had Obama +3.

Obama won by 4.

5. And both Nate Silver/538 and the RCP average called it for Obama (both have HRC winning)

Nevertheless, I'll agree with Reich here - we need to treat these last two weeks like we're down 1 and need to work like Hell - whether we really are down 1 or up 12.

6. It's gonna be tougher this time around to GOTV.

I personally know 4 people who are saying they are going to leave the presidential part of the ballot blank. At least they are voting down ballot.

Sadly, apathy is running very high this election.

7. Same here

...fortunately, they are folks that typically vote GOP, but yes -- I hear a lot of "I don't want either of them." In my opinion, if you are undecided/on-the-fence at this point, then you probably are skipping it this year.
