i.e. Hillary's answers were substantive and detailed. Donald's might have a catchphrase that sounded good on the surface, but all he did was repeat it, and there was no depth beyond that. So he thought that while some of it might have played well in the moment, it wouldn't stand up the next day.

My God, this is one of the most important nights of your life and you don't prepare?!?!? Obviously, this is indicative of how one would behave regarding the day-to-day aspects of the job. I wonder how he made it through college. But, when we think about the ramifications of his actions and inactions, there's so much at stake. And the republicans have no one but themselves to blame. #1 He's their nominee, #2 They have been a literally "do nothing" congress to show that government doesn't work. Since they've be such horrible obstructionists and haven't lifted a finger, we should DEMAND that these congressmen/women pay us back every penny they've made while in office. It was 12 pages, single-spaced, with footnotes. Like a college graduate level thesis.
