They seem like such a let down for those attacking Hillary.

(453 posts)There seems to be some sort language about wall streets role in the financial crash. But publicly in debates with Bernie she has said Dodd Frank didn't go far enough. That it isn't just banks it's also insurance companies too.
So I don't really see much of an inconsistency.
To me the stuff that will end up being the issue so far are things that aren't really bad, but the Trump campaign is then twisting to make it sound bad. For example the DOJ connection, which turns out to be them being told stuff that was already publicly available.
Some other things show her campaign to be very calculated, planned, scripted. It reinforces things people already know. I'm a huge fan of her partly because she is so careful and calculated. A president needs to be careful with what they say publicly.
Some stuff her aides and Podesta have said are mildly offensive, but I remind myself these are private emails and people don't always choose their words carefully in private.
I honestly have been really concerned over these leaks, but my mom that doesn't pay that much attention and is your average voter is really not interested. I talked to her about it and she said she hasn't read them bc they are none of her business. I have noticed a growing concern and focus on Russia's involvement from more moderate rational people. Obviously Trump supporters are pleasuring themselves at any hint of a scandal... But they're really pathetic desperate people.
