My biggest worry is Democratic turnout and new people coming out

of the woods to vote for Trump. I read that early voting in Cleveland was down over 17% from 2012. I noticed myself several people switching parties
to vote Trump in the primaries. My next door neighbor is in his 60s and never voted in his life but he is voting this year for Trump. Can someone help ease those concerns.
I live in eastern Ohio so it is hard to tell how the sane people in the rest of the country are thinking.

There is a huge GOTV effort going on. This weekend in Florida we're actually practicing for the real event so everything will go smoothly. I'm certain this is going on everywhere. We had an organizer in our county who came from California to oversee it. We're working on it! Breathe!

Not that this is a true indicator, but I live in a redneck area of Louisville KY. In 2004 there were busy signs everywhere hardly any John Kerry signs. John Kerry carries Louisville.
Today in the same area there are an equal amount of Trump and Hillary signs, not many on either side. But in more democratic areas of Louisville there are Hillary signs everywhere.
My feeling/hope is that the enthusiasm for Trump comes from the same people that proudly fly the confederate flag and act like that is perfectly normal. I think there is a lot of quiet devotion to Hillary. My hope is that a lot of strong Hillary supporters are just more passive people by nature. Not to mention we don't want our houses vandalized... The trumpeters are Cra!

the news media is going to be saying there was an unexpected turnout of
new voters and independents for Trump. I have been around for a lot of elections and
I have never seen signs like this before. I would bet there are ten times the Trump signs
than what was for Romney or McCain. You know if a person is willing to put a trump sign in his yard
he is going to vote for Trump. I came home from a trip this evening driving 100 miles thru PA,
WV and Ohio and saw at least a hundred yard signs for Trump, one for Johnson and a few Hillary for prison signs.

But many people also hate Trump and will come out to vote for Clinton. The way I see it, Democratic turnout needs to be really bad for Trump to win and I don't see that happening because many people are afraid of Trump and want to be sure to keep him out of the White House.

That being said, we have to encourage people to vote and not let the positive polls lull people into a sense of security.
