1. From Daily Kos, the "Cosby Unit":

A Cosby Unit(CU) is the number of female accusations of sexual assault, harassment and related misconduct which have to be leveled at a male celebrity or public figure before a supermajority of men will believe the allegations to be essentially true. Generally a number between 40 and 60. A Savile, named after Jimmy Savile, is a number which represents the maximum height of depravity by a male celebrity or public figure. One Savile is roughly equal to 10 Cosby Units.

My prediction is that Trump will reach at least 1/3 of a Cosby Unit by the date of the final debate and at least half to 2/3 of a Cosby Unit by Election day. Ultimately he may have 2 or more Cosby Units worth of accusers.

unlike a lot of DU'ers who said "I knew Cosby was dirt from get-go", I thought his shows were ground breaking and added positively to our collective consciousness. IMO, his shows still do that.

But now his personal reality has forever tainted that.

It's just so sad. For the survivors of his criminal behavior. The cast who worked with him. And lastly for his body of work.

And then, there's the fact there are probably a LOT of men in TV/Film, Music, Business who have done same and got away with it.

Donald Trump is a presidential politician. There is a motive to make false allegations against a presidential nominee, just like there was against Bill Clinton.

However, what makes the allegations against Donald Trump more believable than those against Bill Clinton is as you said the sheer number of allegations against Donald Trump and the demeanor of Trump independent of these allegations. As Hillary Clinton said, it's one thing if this were just one video we were talking about. But Donald Trump has admitted on the Howard Stern show that he is a sexual predator, and that he saw sexual conquest like Vietnam.

Some of these allegations against Trump may be false. Unlike Bill Clinton's less than a handful of allegations of sexual assault, I don't believe for Trump they are all false.

The Access tape: he admitted his guilt.

Time is critical: if a woman wants to effect the election, she doesn't have a lot of time.

The press is paying attention, vetting and publicizing the victims.

Cosby had the image of everybody's dad Huxable. Drumpf has always been a playboy, associating with Hefner, Epstein, Stern, and bragging about his sexual exploits.

We've seen this playbook before: priests, other religious figures, Cosby. Uortunately also Bill Clinton, though Ken Starr said he'd have found out if there had ever been rape. And we also know many of our Presidents had mistresses.

My guess? I think 20 will completely sink him.
