Here's the scary part of Trump's words nobody has discussed:

“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

Sounds as if Trump is saying he can't control himself. If forcing himself on women is not a controllable urge, he needs to be sorted out by a psychologist, if not jailed. Let's appoint a special prosecutor for this.

The total lack of consent is a big, big concern.

Yes, lack of consent is of paramount importance. But the neurological inability to control one's urges is also profoundly troubling.

that girls had to be the ones to keep boys/men from forcing themselves on us because the male urge toward sex is so strong that it cannot be controlled.

What this meant was that you had to stay entirely away from sex, no kissing, no petting, because if it stared, the guy might not be able to control himself. And if that happened it would be your fault, not his. Because, you KNOW, that MALE URGE is just SO UNCONTROLLABLY STRONG.

We were taught this in Home Ec class and in biology class.

I've heard that and it's so...so wrong. Is that one reason some fundamentalists cling to the Bible because they've always got the ultimate fallback to "well she sinned first"??

including one that said any woman who avoided marriage to seek a career had mental problems.

And they wonder why we turned to drugs in the 60s.

Males like Trump bought the whole fantasy and you can see why--all the fun and none of the responsibility.

We had one female teacher who managed to tell us this every year one way or another.

Hard to believe how much things have changed (and how much they haven't).

I was a late bloomer and my best friend was a free spirit and nobody could figure it out.

We both ignored those films together.
